Here's a Block of the Month for
those of you who enjoy mixing it up! Year In A Snap uses
strip piecing, paper piecing, dimensional techniques and machine
appliqué to create a quilt for each month of the year! Start by
making a background quilt (pictured here). Then, for each month,
create a mini quilt that "snaps" onto the background. (Check out
the pictures below.) How easy is that?!
The sign-up fee is $20 and includes the book, Year in A Snap.
In January, a fabric kit
for the background quilt top and binding, foundation pattern and
additional instructions will be available for $37.50.
Beginning in February, you will receive a kit to create the
following month's mini quilt for $20. All kits contain full size
patterns, any required paper piecing patterns and fabrics for
the quilt top and binding. Demonstrations be given the second Tuesdays of each
month at 10:30, 1:30 and 5:30pm. |
